Kristen & David were married at Our Lady of Lasalette in Berkley, then we headed over to Mill Race in Village in Northville for some photos, this is a really nice place to shoot, although tough to get in because they’re always booked with weddings and tours, we got some nice shots at the village and then went on to Laurel Manor in Liviona for thier reception, it was a great party and the food was delicious, everyone had a lot of fun, including me.

Erica and John held thier ceremony outside in the gazebo at Fern Hill Golf and Country Club, it was a beautiful day and although much of the course was still under water, we did manage to find a couple of places to get some shots, I had a great time spending the day with them and thier families and WOW, Erica was a very pretty bride.

My wife Sharon and I met Kristen and David in Mount Clemens for their engagement shoot on Sunday afternoon, it was a beautiful day and we had a great time, we finished up just in time too because the rain was pouring by the time we made the ten minute drive home, I’m really looking forward to the wedding in June, it should be a lot of fun.
I met up with Jean and Adam in Mount Clemens for thier engagement shoot, they both grew up in the area and had known each other previously, then they ran into one another at the fireworks downtown and have been together ever since, it was a cold wintery day but they were good sports and we had a great time, I hope they enjoyed it as much as I did.

Jennifer and Derek were married and held their reception at The Best Western, Concorde Inn in Clinton Twp. Mi., the promenade/atrium area is where the ceremony took place, it was beautifully decorated for a Christmas wedding, and you could see the snow falling outside in the background , it was really, really nice. I met Jennifer and Derek back in the summer when we did their engagement shoot, They are a great couple and a lot of fun to be around, congratulations to you both and merry Christmas.

Lindsay and Kyle were married at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Perrysburg Ohio, we then went over to Sidecut Park for some shots by the river, and then to Tamaron Country Club for the reception, (very nice) the party was a lot of fun and dinner was exelent, these two are a great couple and I really enjoyed spending the day with them and their families.

I met up with Gosia and Anton at Spartan Stadium on the campus of MSU for their engagement shoot, we had a good time strolling (and driving) around campus to shoot at different locations, there are so many great places to stop and take a few photos, Beaumont Tower, the Alumni Chapel, all the gardens, and of course there’s Sparty, we shot until we ran out of daylight, it was a beautiful fall day and Gosia and Anton were great company.

Crystal And Chris were married at the Detroit First Church of the Nazarene, Crystal’s dress, with its eight and a half foot train, was just beautiful, we did some group shots at the church after the ceremony, and then went on to the Italian American Banquet Center in Livonia, the party was a riot, there are a bunch of comedians in this group, the traditional mother and son dance was anything but, it was one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen at a wedding, it’s not easy to focus when your laughing so hard, and later, when it was time for Chris to remove the garter from his new bride, what a show, I think it took about five minutes or so and I’m still not sure just what he was doing under there, but it sure was funny.

Courtney and Joe were married at the Michigan State University Alumni Chapel, what a nice place for a wedding, after the ceremony we shot some pictures at the Horticultural Gardens, and then some of us got lost on the way to the Student Union for the reception, but eventually we made it and everyone had a great time celebrating.

We shot Jennifer and Derek’s engagement session in downtown Mount Clemens, we started at the Emerald Theatre, that’s where Derek proposed to his soon to be bride, and then moved on around town, we had fun and it was a pleasure to spend a little time with them.
Hopefully, I’ll see you guys in December.
